Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your safari adventure begins when your driver-guide meets you at your hotel or airport at 7:30 am. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara. Stop briefly at a viewpoint to take in stunning vistas. Arrive at the Mara in time for a delicious lunch, then embark on an exciting afternoon game drive. Watch for lions, cheetahs, and leopards across Masai Mara's crucial wildlife corridor. Unwind with dinner and overnight at Jambo Mara Safari Lodge.
During early morning and late afternoon when animals are most active, you'll have prime opportunities to spot wildlife and the elusive big cats. Embark on game drives through the vast, grassy plains in search of the Big Five. One highlight will be witnessing the dramatic annual migration at the Mara River, where massive herds of wildebeests and zebras cross paths with predators. Optional activities at additional cost: visit a local Maasai village or take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride.
