Overview

A 7-day safari visiting Aberdare (1 night), Samburu (1 night), Lake Nakuru (1 night), and Maasai Mara (3 nights). Samburu and Aberdare are not as famous as Mara and Lake Nakuru but they are extraordinary as well. With this itinerary, we can show much more from Kenya's wildlife and landscapes. Day-by-Day Itinerary

An early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of wildebeest, zebras, and attendant predators. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lion, as well as abundant resident wildlife. It is one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning's game drive. Many cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the sun under vehicles and several even climb onto the roof. For bird enthusiasts, almost 500 species have been recorded including 16 species of eagle, 6 species of vultures, and 9 species of sunbirds.
