Day-by-Day Itinerary
Picked up from the airport or your hotel and driven to Lake Naivasha with a stop at Hell's Gate National Park. The park harbours a wide variety of wildlife including African buffaloes, zebras, elands, hartebeests, Thomson's gazelle, and baboons. Over 100 bird species including vultures, Verreaux's eagles, augur buzzards, and swifts. You'll also do bike riding at Hell's Gate as you see the animals. Spend the rest of the day at leisure at Lake Naivasha. Optional one-hour lake boat safari available at extra cost.
Early morning pick-up and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Known all over the world for its flamingos, it is alkaline and recognized as one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Lake Nakuru is a rhino sanctuary harbouring over 40 black and over 60 white rhinos. At times, almost 2 million flamingos form a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the lakeshore. Arrive in time for lunch, then have an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
